싱 스트리트 (Sing Street) 후기청춘과 사랑을 노래하다 , 등의 음악 영화를 연출하며 명성을 알린 '존 카니' 감독의 신작 영화이다. 이번 영화는 와 마찬가지로 아일랜드가 배경이다. 하지만 주연의 연령대가 바뀌었다. 이전 영화들이 30대의 음악이라면, 이번엔 10대의 음악이다. 어리고 경험적은 10대들의 밴드 사운드지만, 음악의 깊이는 결코 가볍지 않다. 꿈과 희망이 넘치는 청춘과, 열정 넘치는 사랑을 노래한다. 스토리텔링은 보다 발전했고, 캐릭터도 더 잘 살렸고, 음악도 좋고 다채롭다. 아래부터 스포일러 있음. 시간적 배경이 1985년이라 당시 음악의 향수를 느낄 수 있고, 공간적 배경이 아일랜드의 수도 '더블린'이라 가옥들이 즐비한 길거리와 항구 도시의 풍미를 느낄 수 있다. 주인공 페리다 ..
